Con el tiempo paso a ser Escuela Profesional y de oficios Mixta N\u00b01. En la d\u00e9cada de 1950 se traslada a I. Huergo 1534, compartiendo edificio con la Escuela Primaria N\u00b033. Su nombre vuelve a cambiar Escuela Profesional Mixta N\u00b0 1 de Avellaneda. Durante sus primeros a\u00f1os dicta carreras y cursos como Taqui-Dactilograf\u00eda, Dibujo Mec\u00e1nico, Corte y Confecci\u00f3n, Tenedur\u00eda de libros, Auxiliar de Comercio, Secretariado de Empresas, Esteno- Mecanograf\u00eda, Secretariado de oficina , Ingles, Secretariado Comercial, Curso del Hogar, Dibujo T\u00e9cnico, radio y Televisi\u00f3n, Auxiliar de Administraci\u00f3n, y Electromec\u00e1nica entre otros. A partir del 9 de noviembre de 1976, por Res. Ministerial pasamos a llamarnos Escuela de Educaci\u00f3n T\u00e9cnica N\u00b01 de Avellaneda. El 5 de diciembre de 1994 se inaugura la 1\u00b0 etapa del edificio propio, luego vendr\u00e1n dos nuevas etapas. La escuela vespertina se extendi\u00f3 hacia los otros dos turnos, con un ritmo de crecimiento acelerado hasta llegar a ser la E.E.S.T N\u00b01 con todas sus orientaciones que conocemos
